About Morgan
Hello! My name is Morgan and I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bowdoin College, USA and am starting my master's in chemistry at Oxford University later this year focusing on the medical applications of chemistry. I first started tutoring as a teaching assistant (TA) my first year of university. I really enjoyed watching and participating in the student's journey as they gained more confidence and passion for chemistry, motivating me to continue as a TA throughout my 4-year undergraduate degree. I may be biased, but I believe that chemistry is the best subject and I want to continue to share my passion for it and build other students' confidence in the subject.

I understand that chemistry, maths, and physics can be challenging and I want to help students gain more confidence in themselves and their skills. After an initial consultation to determine which areas to focus on, I will design the lessons to target the student's specific needs as well as aid in any homework help and exam preparation. In the lessons, I will help the student fully grasp the topic's content as well as how to apply this knowledge to practice questions. My four years of being a teaching assistant taught me how to break down complex topics and problems in a manner that my students more easily understood. From experience, I know that each student has a preferred learning style from visual, audible, to reading and will adapt my teaching style to suit the student. Using these skills, I want to help students reach their full potential in these subjects.
