About Michael
I am a chemical engineer, based in Edinburgh, who has racked more than 600 tutorials at GCSE, A and IB level on MyTutor. I completed my integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London in 2016 and now dedicate myself to tutoring Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to university level. I like to keep my teaching as engaging as possible with relevant and fun examples of the topic at hand. I normally start by asking the student what they know about the particular topic do give me a picture of their current knowledge, go over the theory briefly to fill in any knowledge gaps, and then practice with different types of examples, many of which I have collected over the past year. I believe that learning by doing is the best and most engaging way to learn!
