• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  My interest in finance and accounting began early in my career when I realized that every successful business decision ultimately comes down to understanding numbers and using them to solve real-world problems. Over the years, working in banking, wealth management, corporate finance, and accounting has only strengthened that passion. Pursuing qualifications such as the CFA Charter and an MBA further deepened my understanding and reinforced my desire to help others master these subjects.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  What excites me most is that finance and accounting are not just about formulas—they tell the story of a business. Whether it's valuing a company, understanding financial statements, or making investment decisions, I enjoy helping students connect theory with practical applications. Watching a concept suddenly "click" for a student is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I genuinely enjoy making difficult topics feel approachable. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations to suit their learning style instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. My professional experience in banking and corporate accounting allows me to bring real-life examples into every lesson, helping students understand not only how something works but also why it matters. My goal is to build confidence, not just improve grades.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  I have been fortunate to learn from many outstanding professors and industry mentors throughout my academic and professional journey. The teachers who inspired me most were those who encouraged curiosity rather than memorization. They taught me that understanding the "why" behind a concept is far more valuable than simply remembering the answer. That philosophy has become the foundation of my own teaching style.

• What are your keys to success?

  I believe success comes from three things: curiosity, consistency, and perseverance. Complex subjects become manageable when approached step by step, with patience and regular practice. I encourage my students to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and focus on truly understanding concepts instead of memorizing them. Once that foundation is built, success in exams and in professional life naturally follows.
