About my career:
In May 2019, I successfully completed my CILS C2 exam at the University of Siena via the Italian Embassy in Berlin. Previously, I worked as a translator and interpreter in banking, with most of my experience in dialects and complex payment transactions.
My divise is that diligence and good teaching need to work together so that everyone can achieve any achievable goal.

My methodologies are as follows:
In general, I advise students individually concerning their language levels through private tests, where I draw attention to problem areas and express my personal opinion on the student's level.
A level: (beginner)
The student is taught the character of the language by being immersed in various social situations, while the texts (as well as the listening parts) will be developped further later in the course. All vocabulary of the text will be analyzed and the pronunciation will be corrected, for the time being, to the most necessary. The spoken language
B-level:
The student will initially be tested with small tests on listening comprehension, reading comprehension, etc.
The teaching will focus on building vocabulary and understanding advanced grammar problems. In general, grammar is explained solely on the basis of realistic situations. At the beginning of each lesson, I will include short repetitions based on the last lesson. Exam-like situations will be practiced.
C level:
[In general, the C level is very strict and is known to not accept serious mistakes. It is recommended to give the exam top priority.]
The student will be subjected to several thorough tests. We will collect our experiences concerning the last exam taken, all linguistic subtleties are and must be built to near mastery. The pronunciation will be perfected, the student will be confronted with political texts and literary masterpieces. First insight into dialects (dialects are only conditionally relevant to the exam). The listening comprehension tasks are enhanced with coincidental radio interviews and examination-like conditions. We will work towards a general understanding of 80% -90% in each area of life. The C part is therefore also to be regarded as a teaching of general knowledge. Of course, I create my lessons to be visually and socially stimulating, to prevent frustration and the like. It is always best to combine a language with your personal interests, which is why I always make sure that I meet the student's wishes and respect their attitudes.
