About María Fernanda
While I was in high school, I was a great student at my English institute, which allowed me to give support classes to other people who had trouble understanding their teachers. I really loved that experience; it was very rewarding for me, especially when I could see that they were understanding or when they told me how well they did in their tests.
Now, I'm 23 years old and I'm studying to be a certified translator at the UBA because I discovered that the English language is the one thing that I'm really passionate about, but I still love teaching, and I would love to show you how beautiful this language can be.

I provide a personalized methodology, which will be planned according to the student's needs, strengths and weaknesses. I will always do my best to ensure giving entertaining and effective lessons.
We will have reading and listening activities (which will include songs, because music is a major ally in learning languages, in my opinion). This will help the student to improve their vocabulary, as well as their grammar and listening comprehension skills; we will also work with phonetics to improve the student's pronunciation (which I know is a big concern for most people); all of these, among other more conventional exercises, too.
I organize lessons in blocks, which allows us to make the most of them and keep fresh the contents learnt in each of them to integrate them as we go.
My goal as a teacher is that my students, regardless of their level, begin to feel comfortable with their knowledge and to communicate uninhibitedly in English. When that happens is that I feel the happiest, because that means that I did my job right.
