About Elizabeth
I'm a certified teacher, currently working as an English as a Second Language teacher in France. As a native English speaker teaching English in the classroom, I have many lesson plans, activities and games that my students enjoy participating in. I regularly work with students in individual, small group, and large group settings. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago and received my license as an elementary school special education teacher in the State of Illinois and have much experience working with diverse students, including those who have learning difficulties. I studied French as my second language, so I too am a language learner and understand the nuances and frustrations that come when learning a new language. I am greatly impressed with anyone who decides to learn a new language and look forward to accompanying you on this journey!

I meet each student where they are at. Together, we create a goal for their lessons based on what they want to accomplish. I teach English as a native speaker in order to help you understand and speak English like a native speaker. I plan activities, games, and materials for each lesson to better help you reach your objective. As a team, we will engage in exercises based on research that will have real-life application. I know that learning a new language can be daunting, so I hope to create a low stakes environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes.
