About Angela
I am a certified educator with specialized experience in literacy instruction, including phonics, reading comprehension, and academic writing. I have worked extensively with diverse learners, including students receiving ESOL and targeted reading intervention, and I bring a structured, data-informed approach to every session.
My instruction is grounded in research-based practices and aligned to academic standards, allowing me to identify skill gaps quickly and provide focused, high impact support. I provide personalized lessons in English literature, writing, and phonics designed to meet each student’s individual needs and learning style. As a certified teacher, I use structured, research-based strategies to support students in building strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
My lessons focus on developing phonics and decoding for struggling readers, strengthening writing organization and clarity, and improving understanding of literature through guided discussion and targeted practice. I also incorporate engaging, interactive activities to keep students motivated and confident.
