I met Maria when I was living in Mexico City looking for a Spanish tutor and if you're looking to improve your skills or start from scratch, I'd definitely recommend her. Her teaching style is really dynamic and she tailors her approach to your level. Unlike other tutors I've studied with, she presents materials specific to the content I want to learn. We covered reading, writing and of course, speaking. My work with her brought me from a capable speaker to fluent. Her materials build on each other and she makes sure to present complex grammar and ideas in different ways so you actually get it right. She is both challenging and encouraging and if you're willing to spend the time and practice, your abilities will definitely improve. She is the best - a great teacher and great company!! Without her lessons, I wouldn't be able to volunteer with Spanish speakers like I do today.
