About Brionna
Hello! My name is Brionna Jordan, and I am a certified full-time teacher with expertise in teaching mathematics to students in grades PreK–5. I am currently earning my Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Literacy, deepening my knowledge of how students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Teaching is more than my profession — it’s my passion. I approach every learning opportunity with a constructivist mindset, believing that students learn best when they are active participants in building their own understanding. In my classroom and tutoring sessions, I create hands-on, student-centered experiences that connect new concepts to what students already know, while encouraging them to question, explore, and make meaningful connections. I am a consistent collaborative learner alongside my students. I believe that learning is a shared journey, and I am committed to growing with my students every step of the way. My goal is to cultivate learners who are confident in their exploration, comfortable taking risks, and resilient in the face of challenges. I truly believe that when students are supported and comfortable in their abilities, they can achieve great things — not just in school, but in every area of life. Through specialized coursework in math instruction and differentiation, I design personalized lessons that meet the diverse needs of each learner. I focus on helping students not just "get the right answer," but understand the why behind their learning, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. I am passionate about creating a positive, empowering learning environment where students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow — because failing forward is a crucial part of success. As a full-time certified PreK–5 teacher and a current graduate student earning my Master’s degree in Education with a literacy concentration, I bring both experience and a passion for learning to every tutoring session. My approach is deeply rooted in a constructivist mindset, meaning I believe that students learn best when they actively build their own understanding through exploration, problem-solving, and reflection.
Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to meet students where they are.
