About Harsimar
I’m a passionate and experienced math tutor who loves helping young learners build confidence and a strong foundation in math. I know that every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to match their unique pace and style, making math fun and easy to understand. I believe in making math fun, engaging, and relatable for young learners by using a concept-based approach that focuses on understanding the why behind mathematical principles, not just the how. I personalize lessons to match each student’s learning pace and needs while fostering confidence and critical thinking. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up activity, followed by concept introduction with relatable examples, guided practice, independent problem-solving, and a review session to address doubts. I also incorporate fun math games to reinforce learning in an enjoyable way. What sets me apart is my patient and encouraging teaching style, my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles, and my focus on real-world applications to make math meaningful. Additionally, I maintain strong communication with parents to track progress and provide feedback. My lessons are designed for students in Grades 1-5, whether they need help overcoming math challenges, want to build a strong foundation, or seek a confidence boost in their skills.
