About Tobias
I have taught many classes ranging from EMT Basic to EMT Paramedic with great success. I pride myself on an immersive teaching experience and partnership with students who command their own learning journey while I partner with them in success. Topics that are traditionally difficult are unlocked and unpacked in a meaningful and fruitful way, to allow true comprehension as opposed to simple regurgitation.

I’m an approachable and patient instructor with 7 years experience within the field of EMS. My passion is my craft; Emergency Medical Science. I hold cards from IBSC (flight paramedic), UMBC (Critical Care Transport) and NCOEMS (Paramedic). I started from the bottom and studied my way to where I am now; from EMT Basic to Flight Paramedic. I know the in and the outs, ups and downs and common hang ups of EMS education. I have worked as an EMS instructor for several years as well as providing education for local fire departments and EMS agencies alike.
