My Teaching Method & Techniques: I use a variety of teaching strategies depending on the student's needs and goals. Scaffolded Instruction: I break down complex topics into manageable chunks, starting with foundational concepts and gradually building up to more advanced material. Positive Reinforcement: Encouragement and feedback are crucial. I celebrate progress, however small, to motivate students and boost their confidence. A Typical Lesson Plan: Warm-up/Review (5-10 minutes): We’ll briefly review previous material to ensure understanding and build upon it. Introduction to New Concept (15-20 minutes): I’ll present new material using clear explanations and visual aids when appropriate. I’ll also provide examples and encourage questions. Guided Practice (15 minutes): We work together through problems or exercises, allowing me to correct misunderstandings and provide immediate feedback. Independent Practice (10-15 minutes): The student works on problems or tasks independently while I observe and assist when necessary. Wrap-up and Homework (5 minutes): I’ll summarize the lesson, answer any remaining questions, and assign homework to reinforce the material covered.
