About Brett
I have been teaching English for 9 years and have taught all ages an ability levels, from pre-school to doctoral candidates. Whether it's test prep and essay practice or oral presentations and cover letters, my students have succeeded at all levels of education, from being admitted to prestigious universities to successfully completing graduate school.

I approach both individual and group classes with a student-centered, inquiry-based mindset. I first use a diagnostic evaluate strengths and weaknesses and use the results to make a learning plan. A typical lesson starts with me introducing a concept and then gradually scaffolding exercises so that the student can independently apply the concept by themselves.
