• 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I developed an interest in tutoring for the MCAT during my own MCAT journey. Studying for such a challenging exam taught me not just the content, but also strategies and discipline, and I realized how valuable it is to have guidance. I wanted to share what I learned with others who are going through the same stressful process.

• 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I’m passionate about the MCAT because it’s more than just a test, it’s a stepping stone toward becoming a doctor. I enjoy helping students see that it’s not about memorizing endless facts, but about learning how to think critically and apply concepts, which is also what makes medicine exciting.

• 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  What I like most about tutoring is helping students gain confidence and realize they can improve, even in sections they thought were impossible. What makes me a “Superprof” is my ability to connect with students, adapt my teaching to their needs, and provide clear strategies that make the test more manageable.

• 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  One of my science professors for my Biol 101 at McGill inspired me by the way he taught complex concepts so simply. He made learning approachable and never let students feel discouraged. That approach stuck with me and is something I try to bring into my tutoring.

• 5) What are your keys to success?

  My keys to success are discipline, consistency, and mindset. I believe in setting realistic study goals, sticking to them, and not getting overwhelmed by the big picture. I also focus on building confidence, because mindset can make all the difference on a high-stakes exam like the MCAT.
