About Laura
I am a working dramaturg, critic, producer, and director. I maintain a parallel career as a lecturer and teacher, delivering LAMDA and Drama lessons in schools and lectures and practicals in a top drama school across BA and MA/MFA course.
Qualifications: PhD in theatre practice from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, MFA in Shakespeare Performance from University of Exeter, BA in Theatre Performance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
I undergo annual safeguarding training, hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, and always put my students' needs first. With a warm and caring demeanor, I encourage students to be their best selves and develop into confident, skilled and informed performers.

As a trained actor and director with nearly 20 years' experience teaching people of all ages, I offer a bespoke service catering to individual students' learning aims and needs. Lessons are available in 15-minute increments, which provides flexibility for students and parents. I teach children as young as 5, through adults. Discounted rates are available for online lessons.
I have a 100% pass rate for LAMDA syllabi in Acting, Public Speaking, Verse & Prose, and Introductory. I also coach professional and pre-professional actors and performers, and teaching playwriting.
