About Nieves
I am a recently graduated English teacher who has taught English classes online to different levels from elementary to intermediate. I love teaching and I try to accommodate all my lessons to suit your needs, your motivations and interest.
I love to talk and ask questions and I encourage my students to do the same.
I have an excellent track record in improving students fluency and confidence using English in real life situations.
I really enjoy seeing my students improve from when they started often in a very short space of time.
I certainly believe that one of my strengths is that I particularly engage with the students and make sure they get involved in the class.

During my lessons I try to put in a considerable degree of attention, interest, curiosity, and optimism. I like to nominate different students to make sure everyone gets involve during a task where they have to find the right answer. Engaging with the students in the learning process motivates them to practise higher levels of critical thinking skills and promotes meaningful learning experience. I tend to give students time to peer check during the reading task lesson, by dividing them in small groups to check the answers before we do a whole feedback class. It helps to develop lifelong skills in assessing and providing feedback to others and equips them to self-assess and improve their own work. Also during my lexis and grammar lesson I try to give students enough time to practise their speaking at the end of the lesson in a freer task. This task forces students to do something in class that they will do (and probably have done!) in their own language . It replaces the traditional classroom with a real-life situation that allow them to answer or solve real problems. They speak more naturally and fluently using the target language where appropriate.

The rate for advance level will be £20 an hour
Payments of 5 and 10 hours will be made in full in advance during the first class. In case of class cancellation, that hour will be accumulated for the next class
