About Jenny
Having gained my CELTA qualification in 2017, I then spent one year on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean teaching English to very young children, young teenagers (max 10 per group) and giving private adult lessons. Since returning to England, I have been teaching at a summer school for international teenagers and adults. As a smiley, approachable person, I enjoy developing a rapport with my students, while seeing them improve their English skills and gain confidence.

Hi! My name is Jenny and I am a native English speaker from England.
In my lessons I like to reflect my creative and active lifestyle, thus making them as unique and enjoyable for you as possible.
That said, the lesson is yours and, therefore, I am more than happy to help you in any aspect of the English language - speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary. When learning new material, we will first begin with some more controlled activities such as gap-fill exercises or roleplay. Then, when you feel confident enough, we will use songs, quizzes, games and online resources to consolidate your understanding.
Naturally, the progression of activities depends entirely on your pace, which they will be in control of. In this way, I believe it is your responsibility to set your own targets and expectations. It is my role to encourage, guide and support you in your learning.
