I am a teacher and tutor studying at the University of Chicago. I obtained my Cambridge English Teaching Certification as well as an Online Teaching Certification from the University of Missouri. My teaching method is to center the class around the students. Making sure that students can utilize the target language means that students will have to participate with the teacher. Students must feel comfortable and supported in order to practice speaking. Test preparation is also important and this is done through a teach-test approach which will allow students to practice with real questions which they can connect to the teaching.
