About Cecilia

Hey there!! My name is Cecilia, I'm a 25-year-old living in Dublin, Ireland. My journey into teaching is a recent one, born out of a desire to move beyond the solitude often associated with Translation Studies. I'm naturally drawn to people and thrive on building connections. I'm known for my patience and empathy, and most importantly for my deep passion for the English language! I can't wait to share that love with my future students and help them along their language journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach combines a diverse range of techniques and methodologies to create personalised English lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student. Individual lessons typically run for 60 minutes, although I can accommodate longer sessions for group classes. With qualifications including a bachelor's degree in English and Linguistics from the University of Venice, a master's degree in Translation Studies from Trinity College Dublin, and recent certification as a CELTA-certified English teacher with a pass A grade, I bring a solid educational background to my tutoring. While I customise my lessons based on the specific requirements of each student, my primary focus is on teaching adults aged 16 and above. I have experience working with both pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate learners, ensuring a comprehensive and effective learning experience.
