About Lorenz Niilas
Currently I study in the cello class of Professor Alexander Baillie at the HFK Bremen. The cello is my great passion with which I have already gained experience in individual lessons with different teachers, courses and masterclasses, solo concerts, chamber music, orchestra, opera and musical production. I pass on my experiences and passion with great enthusiasm. Most important to me is that the joy of music is in the foreground.

I always tailor my lessons to the goals, interests and needs of my students. So far, it has been proven in my teaching to complete a short technical unit at the beginning and then to work on the current pieces. My main focus is initially on learning a good bowing technique, as this is necessary for an expressive sound and also significantly simplifies techniques such as intonation and the general musicality on the cello. In addition, the ability to create a good sound on the cello is highly motivating for my students.
