About Leah
I am a Biology tutor with over 3 years of experience and an MSc in Immunology. My academic background gave me deep knowledge of cellular biology, but my greatest passion is marine biology and oceanography. I love exploring marine ecosystems, ocean currents, and the impact of human activity on marine life. In my lessons, I bring the ocean to life through documentaries, case studies, and interactive discussions. We study coral reefs, plankton communities, and the fascinating adaptations of deep-sea creatures. I encourage learners to think critically about conservation and sustainability. My goal is to help students understand not just the science but also the responsibility humans have toward nature. I tailor lessons to each student, whether they need structured review for exams or want to explore biology out of curiosity. I believe in making complex systems easier by breaking them into clear, manageable steps. I use visual resources to show how nutrient cycles, currents, and ecosystems connect. Students also learn how climate change and pollution alter marine life. My teaching style combines explanation with discovery. I want learners to feel inspired, not overwhelmed. Biology is not only about memorizing facts, it is about asking why and how. I show students how ocean science links to global issues like climate, food security, and conservation. By the end of each lesson, learners feel more confident, curious, and motivated. Together, we can explore biology’s role in protecting the oceans for future generations.
