About Teresa
Over 30 years in the world of teaching.
I use my own method of castanets. A modern and dynamic method, with all the secrets to get your castanets speak. A new way of making music, discovering this percussion instrument that has technically evolved into a concert instrument.
You will learn Castanets technique through exercises of placement, strength, coordination, dexterity, rhythm, expression and improvisation in a pleasant and fun atmosphere and at the same time will work rigorously.
Also, students will begin or improve in reading and interpretation of scores of castanets able to accompany all kinds of music (classical, modern, Spanish, flamenco, jazz, tango, chotis, Catalan, popular in different countries, etc.). Students will learn various musical works whose number will depend on the pace of student learning.
The course includes scores and music.
No prior knowledge of music theory is necessary.

Director / Founder of the International Castanets Festival. Member of the International Dance Council CID - UNESCO. Member of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (Madrid)
Member of the International Orchestra of Conductors (OIDO).
His courses certified by the CID-UNESCO, are aimed at students who want to learn to play castanets with a refined technique or clean your technique, gain speed, learning to read scores of castanets, deepen the study of castanets concert as solo instrument, playing both classical, Spanish, modern, traditional, jazz, flamenco and folk music from different countries.
Also, highly recommended for dancers Spanish dance and flamenco intending to take a step further with castanets, good to meet new touches, improve your technique and then apply it to dance or to orient themselves as castanet.
