About Varsha
Hi everyone! My name is Varsha, I am a Canadian student in the Graduate Law programme at the University of Exeter. I have many years of experience in tutoring, and have most recently been working as a manager of an education centre called Oxford Learning, which focuses on providing additional educational support to students struggling in the traditional school system. Through this experience I have deeply refined my ability to tailor the teaching approach to each student's strengths and weaknesses.
As far as hobbies, I am a creative person and have been playing piano since I was 10 years old and am still a bit of a music fanatic. I have completed level 8 RCM. I also figure skated quite a bit whilst in Canada. I am deeply attracted to the arts and love creating my own clothes. Other than my creative pursuits, I always love catching a game of hockey, football or American football on a day off!

With many years in education experience, I have learnt how to adapt my approach in accordance with each individual student's needs. I recognise that not everyone learns the same way and needs personalised lesson plans that will actually help the student understand the material deeper than a surface level. During my time working as a manager of a tutoring centre, we specialised our approach to be specific to each student's learning needs. Oftentimes the kids at our centre had learning disabilities, which further encouraged and refined my ability to adapt to different learning needs.
I can teach all school levels in English as I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of writing, reading, and literature analysis. I can also teach maths until pre-calculus. I can also teach French, as I am an advanced speaker and writer.
