About Joshua
In college, I took many technical classes on all the instruments and I put those classes to use on a daily basis in my day job as a 5-12 Band Director. From teaching 5th graders how to make a sound, to teaching seniors how to pick music for their scholarship auditions, I have helped many students achieve success.

As a Band Director for 5-12 myself, I know how to prepare and teach to all ages levels and learning abilities. We can formulate your lessons to prepare you for auditions, supplement your school learning, or pick up a new instrument. We will pick the best learning pace and material that keeps you motivated to continue to learn and grow better.

I have known Joshua since college and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about music, and music theory is one of its pillars. He is a great listener, compassionate and fair, all of which together makes him a great educator.
