I prefer opening up as many avenues of screenwriting as possible for my students and encourage them to realize their own strengths to help them develop their own unique artistic voice. This includes studying various screenwriting theories, screenwriting literature, watching films, regular journaling, and of course, writing!

Vivashwan is quite supportive and motivating as a mentor. He has an unusual way of teaching screenplay where he catches your strengths and makes you work on them. He helps you polish the skills you already have and gives new perspective on the stories you write.
Apart from these he also gives realistic advice on how you can make writing a part of your daily habit and make sure you finish what you started.
The best advice he has given me is “Write something you are passionate about and something you want to watch”
He’s a great teacher and there’s a lot I learnt from him about telling a story as visually and without words as possible.
10/10 would always make him read my first draft! He absolutely knows what he's doing. His eye for creativity and his imagination is beyond what anyone could have. His teaching techniques are very useful and I've learnt so much from his classes. He is attentive and patient. He will guide you in a way that will make you feel empowered to write.
I've read quite a few of his works and even seen a few developed into shows and short movies and his perception and way of thinking is very different from many others. I'm a budding writer too and his feedback on my works and general guidance has helped me create some of my best works. He knows what he's talking about.
Vivashwan is not just a very talented writer, but also a great mentor. Opening the floor for interesting discussions, he encourages students to exchange ideas and thoughts, thereby making the art of scriptwriting a collaborative effort. He is very patient at his work. His heightened sense of empathy for his subjects makes him the right person to share your ideas with. You will always get a valuable feedback from him.
As his roommate for 3 years, I've seen him build himself as a script writer as he continuous worked on new personal and professional projects. He has worked on the writer's table with Film Maker, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra. He has written many episodes for the Indian Cartoon shows "Little Singham" and "Lambu ji Tingu ji". He has written multiple feature length scripts that are magical and captivating, along with scripts for short films he had directed back in college. We also worked on a project together where he put my story and ideas of my life in boarding school, into a beautifully written script and episode breakdown for an entire season. He's an amazing writer and anyone would have a tonne to gain from his experience and expertise. He is also methodical in his approach and understands the value of technical skill along with creativity, making him a suitable tutor.
