About ABDUSSALAM
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Mathematics Teacher position with the UAE Ministry of Education. With more than 20 years of teaching experience across CBSE and IGCSE curricula in the UAE, India, and the Maldives, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your institution’s commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Currently, I am working as a Mathematics Teacher at New Indian Model School, Sharjah, where I teach CBSE mathematics and support students with diverse learning abilities. Prior to this, I served as an IGCSE Mathematics Teacher at Sanjay Ghodawat International School in India and worked for several years under the Ministry of Education in the Maldives, teaching O-Level, AS, and A-Level Mathematics as well as serving as a Leading Teacher of KS3.
Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on creating engaging lesson plans, promoting critical thinking, and encouraging students to develop confidence in mathematics. My experience with multiple syllabuses, including CBSE, Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel, and higher secondary mathematics, has strengthened my adaptability and instructional effectiveness in multicultural learning environments.
I hold a Master of Science in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Education, and extensive classroom experience that enables me to manage students effectively while maintaining high academic standards. In addition, I possess strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and modern teaching methodologies.
I am particularly interested in joining the UAE Ministry of Education because of its strong vision for educational innovation, student-centered learning, and commitment to academic quality. I would be honored to contribute my knowledge, dedication, and passion for mathematics education to your esteemed institution. Thank you
