About Darby

I studied acting at AMDA both in Los Angeles and New York City. I have since worked in Film, TV, and on stage in New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. My passion for learning is what fuels my coaching sessions.

About the lesson

On-Camera technique is the foundation for my approach to Film and TV audition prep. Every series and feature has its own, unique style and tone. We will work with your authentic take on the character and mold them into the world of the genre you are playing in.

I've been working with Darby for over a year and she is a godsend for anyone who is considering the jump into acting! Whether it's about technique or the industry, she has the knowledge and experience to really support new and upcoming actors. She's helped with me with audition prep, walked me through organizing my demo reel and given me so much advice on the first few stepping stones of your acting career. I could not recommend an acting coach more highly than Darby Steeves!
