About Lana
It is of crucial importance to keep the students motivated, eager to learn and develop their creativity! I do this by focusing on meaning and fluency promoting real-world interaction between the students and encouraging them to use the language naturally. I mostly opt for the task-based-teaching approach as I believe it suits the students' needs and gives them the opportunity to use the language as freely and as naturally as possible, develop their critical thinking and teaches them to start noticing the language in their environment.

Throughout my 13-year experience teaching English I have become more and more passionate about teaching and learning about my students, exploring the ways to make my students motivated and eager to learn! I have taught different ages and levels including primary aged students (6-9 years old), lower secondary aged students (10-12 years old), secondary aged students (13-17 years old) and adults (18+). I have read General English (levels A1-C2) and Business English (adult learners: levels B1-C1). I am experienced and knowledgeable in teaching exam classes (levels: B1-C1).
