About Prepbridge
Prepbridge is a small team of Cambridge students offering one-to-one tuition in maths and the sciences. We are four Cambridge students who between us cover GCSEs, A-Levels and the full range of Oxbridge and medical entrance exams. Our team holds A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology, grade 9s across STEM GCSEs, top-percentile UCAT scores, and current places on competitive Cambridge courses. Between us we have tutored well over twenty students through platforms and school peer-mentoring schemes, so we know how to teach the material, not just how to do it. We support GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, alongside specialist preparation for STEP, TMUA, ESAT and the UCAT. Every student starts with a short diagnostic so we can target the real gaps rather than guessing. From there we work through past-paper questions and exam-style problems together, talking through the reasoning out loud so the student learns to think the way the examiner marks. We set focused work between sessions and review it at the start of the next, so progress is visible week to week. For admissions tests we drill timing and question triage specifically, since running out of time sinks more candidates than not knowing the content. Whether a student needs to rebuild confidence with fundamentals or push from an A to a secure A*, we tailor every session to where they actually are.
