About Adam
Hi! I'm a third-year mathematics student at Selwyn College, Cambridge. I have been mentoring students individually and in a group since starting my A-levels. Having studied Mathematics under 20 different teachers in 3 countries, I've usually got several different explanations up my sleeve ready to go for any given concept.

I've found an analogy-based approach is best when trying to make concepts more palatable, and a problem-driven approach is best for exam preparation. Maths at university is proof heavy, so no concept will be used or introduced without a proof or two. I usually mentor A-level students, but I do have experience with those in earlier years.

Perfect! Adam has been really helpful with my preparation for STEP! He certainly understands the concepts very well himself and was able to explain things well. He gave me intuitive ways of understanding various questions and pointed me towards simple exam techniques that have undoubtedly equipped me well for the exam. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is preparing for the STEP exams and would like to consult a competent tutor for help!
