About Elyssa
Hi there! My name is Elyssa and I am a first-year History of Art student at Cambridge University. As a student myself, I know how difficult A-levels can be but I believe with the right technique, anyone can achieve their desired grade. Despite significant disruption in Year 13 due to illness, I was able to attain the grades for my course. I am dedicated to helping other students do the same as education has truly changed my life and I hope to help others who have also faced difficulty while studying for their exams! I teach exam technique from my own personal experience and according to exam board guidelines. I am also happy to share tips and resources that have helped me achieve my grades. I have experience tutoring GCSEs and A-levels as well as making revision content such as flashcards and study handbooks online. As such, I believe in making content easy to understand and teaching efficient study techniques for students who have a lot on their plate!

My lessons are for anyone taking their A-levels in English Literature, History of Art. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long depending on students' needs and take place online. I have 2 years of experience tutoring GCSEs and A-level humanities subjects while studying for my own exams. I have also made online revision resources for fellow students. I like to emphasise exam technique and relate it to the curriculum as from my personal experience, this is key to achieving higher attainment grades efficiently and with relative ease. I also help students create their own revision resources and write essays according to exam board guidelines. I can help with content especially related to: Modernism and Baroque or Avant-Garde Art. I am also able to help students with Oxbridge/University admissions if requested!
