About Elise
-I am currently a sophomore student at Penn State University
-I am in a leadership program called "Sapphire" where I am actively learning more things about public speaking and being a leader
-I have been an active member of a program called "Orators" which specializes in students memorizing and performing speeches
-I have recieved "1st place" three years in a row in a public speaking competition
-I was a peer leader during my high school years where I really got to work with younger students and helping them learn about different topics such as sexual education and the harmful effects of drug use
-I also do business case competitions, using public speaking, and I have gotten to "the talented twelve", 4th place, and 3rd place nationally.

-I like focuses on what style of learning works best for a student since each person is different. Whether that is using visuals like slideshows or coming up with activities related to the topic to provide a more hands on experience
-A typical lesson plan would be a short introduction to the topic we will be going over, then moving into core learning which would be some sort of activity or slideshow, followed by recap and q and a
-What sets me apart as a tutor is that I really believe in modifying my lessons and activities to the actual student. I take the time to see what style of learning really resonates with a person and going from there. I also am happy to share my personal experiences with public speaking.
