About Abigail
My name is Abbie and I am a third-year student of Business Management.
I am particularly interested in enhancing education and professional development for the purpose of building confidence, resilience, and greater access to opportunities. I have a keen interest in English literature as well as linguistic communication skills and firmly believe that with the appropriate support and resources, anyone can achieve their potential. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in both English Language and Literature and a B at A-Level in the same subjects.
I am an active volunteer in my local community and have experience in training and management. My favourite thing about tutoring is helping others feel the joy and satisfaction of learning a new skill and exceeding their goals!

I take a personal approach to lesson planning and teaching dependent on the request or the student's learning style. I create exercises to learn new concepts or cover topics with activities that I will review and feedback on. Lessons are generally an hour long with time allocated for any questions or feedback for myself. English lessons are for KS2-GCSE students looking to have support in their independent learning to excel in their grades or effectively revise subject matter. CV writing and cover letter sessions are aimed at school leavers and young adults looking to improve their interview skills and self-efficacy to land competitive roles.
