About Ross
Hi there, my name is Ross.
For more than 10 years, I've worked in UK recruitment, helping graduates and experienced professionals secure positions across the Engineering, IT and Construction sectors. During that time, I've reviewed thousands of CVs, conducted interviews, and coached candidates from around the world on how to communicate effectively with UK employers.
I hold the MIRP Certificate in Recruitment Practice and have developed a practical understanding of what employers, recruiters and hiring managers are really looking for throughout the recruitment process.
My passion is helping international professionals build successful careers in the UK. Whether you're preparing for an interview, improving your professional English, refining your CV or simply building confidence in workplace communication, my aim is to give you practical advice that you can immediately put into practice.
My coaching style is friendly, supportive and honest. Every student has different goals, so I tailor each lesson to your experience, industry and career ambitions, helping you develop the confidence and communication skills needed to succeed in the UK job market.

Hi there! My lessons are designed for international professionals who want to improve their professional English and increase their chances of securing a role with a UK employer.
Unlike a traditional English tutor, I combine language coaching with over 10 years of UK recruitment experience. Having worked with graduates, experienced professionals, managers and senior leaders across the Engineering, IT and Construction sectors, I understand what recruiters and hiring managers look for and the communication skills that employers value.
Lessons are tailored to your individual goals and may include:
• Professional and business English for the workplace
• CV writing and optimisation for the UK job market
• Interview preparation and realistic mock interviews
• Improving confidence when speaking with recruiters and employers
• Business communication, including meetings, presentations and emails
• LinkedIn profile and personal branding advice

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on your needs. Every lesson is practical, interactive and focused on real-life situations rather than textbook exercises. You'll receive honest feedback, personalised guidance and practical advice that you can apply immediately.
I hold the MIRP Certificate in Recruitment Practice and have spent more than a decade helping professionals from around the world present themselves successfully to UK employers.
