Huma brings over a decade of experience in ecosystem development, working with academic, corporate, and public sector stakeholders across the UK, UAE, and Pakistan. Her doctoral research explores how incubators and accelerators support research commercialization within transnational university ecosystems. A non-traditional entrant to academia, she is passionate about bridging operational insights with academic rigor, advocating for more accessible and structured pathways into doctoral education. Huma's work also includes leading capacity-building bootcamps, mentoring startups, and building international collaborations focused on SDG-aligned innovation.
