About Katy
I have just finished studying a BA in Business Economics and will be commencing a masters study in Economics from October 2021. I have previously tutored GCSE Business Studies students in a classroom setting alongside a qualified teacher.
Further to my studies, I have employment history in data analytics and business/product portfolio management.

First and foremost I believe everyone learns and retains information in different ways. As such I take a tailored approach to learning and will always want to understand how my students learn best before tutoring can begin.
This unique approach can include personalised timetabling and grade targeting to ensure commitment and to identify progress.
Most importantly I believe in making learning fun. Gone are the days where students should only copy from a textbook. To ensure maximum retention I believe in going over material in several different ways. This can include practical application of terminology and concepts, as well as expression through diagrams, speech or physical aids. Additionally, I like to incorporate both social and solitary elements of learning.
First lesson is free, lessons thereafter charged at £20.00 per hour.
A 24-hour cancellation policy is in place. Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hours prior notice will be charged at the full rate of £20.00 per hour.
