About Sonia
All my students know me to be super amiable, approachable and engaging! I've been tutoring for over 5 years as a 97.35 ATAR graduate in 2018 and I'm firm that learning should be a fun, collaborative experience and should foster excitement in the student to further advance their knowledge outside the classroom. I’m a student-first maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and what matters most to me is helping students feel safe, confident, and supported in their learning. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, admitting when they’re unsure, and exploring tricky topics without fear of judgement.
My goal isn’t just to improve marks, but to help students build confidence, independence, and a healthier relationship with learning. I’m flexible around school schedules and exam periods, offer ongoing support outside of sessions when students feel stuck, and am available after school and on weekend mornings.
