About Virginia
Hi here, My name is Virginia Kynigos. I am a Bristol University graduate and am currently undertaking my law conversion course at the University of Law. I am a bubbly individual with a passion for teaching and working with children. Whilst I have not chosen to pursue teaching as a profession, my interest for teaching began when I was 16 and first began tutoring. During sixth form, I regularly tutored children and teenagers in my area. I gave musical instrument lessons in piano, violin and voice as I was a Music Scholar at Channing School and had achieved Distinction in Grade 8 for both Violin and Voice. I also taught Maths and English at a primary school level and regularly babysat for families with children of all ages. I further developed my skills as a teacher when I undertook a 6 month volunteering placement as an English teacher at a school in Colombia. This was a wonderful way of enhancing my teaching capabilities whilst enjoying working with children. Seeing their progress over my 6 months working there was incredible and something I am very proud of. I believe I am an engaging tutor due to my cheerful and enthusiastic personality and previous experience in teaching. I hope you hear from you! Ms Kynigos undertook a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish at the University of Bristol, for which she awarded a 2:i. She is hard-working and enthusiastic, receiving many first-class marks in her final year. Her level of French and Spanish is very high, both spoken and written.
