About Jamie
I performed in my parents' tribute show growing up from the age 7, and never looked back from performing. I got a keyboard when I was 8 and a guitar when I was 11. I am completely self-taught and worked my way to the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2016 singing with my mum as part of the act Mel and Jamie. I went to college and completed the RSL Level 3 music course playing in bands performing a Beatles show and a country music show. I then went to university to study music technology and passed the first year. Lockdown came around and I left university to teach myself about music production. I have recently come back from being a bandleader aboard P&O Cruises in Gary Barlow's 710 Club to stay home for a while. I have recorded and produced all of my songs individually under the artist name DrESSINGOWN on Apple Music, Spotify ETC. I continue to write, teach, produce, and perform my solo gigs whilst I am home.

They will be filled with fun, lighthearted learning and enjoyment, as music should be. The lessons will not be theory based, but we will talk about the importance of it and how you can use it to learn, create and understand music. We will focus on learning songs that you like, and give you the tools and inspiration to carry it forward as an independent artist/musician. You will have the option to take part in 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hour lessons. We will always end the sessions with a summary of what we have learnt and something to practise for next lesson. Lessons are for all ages and levels!
