About Gabriel
I am a dedicated and creative teacher of music as well as a committed songwriter and composer. I attended the BRIT school in South London where I had the opportunity to play alongside and study with many talented and inspiring musicians as well as some leading industry figures such as Nile Rodgers, and the New Power Generation.
I have played gigs, worked as a session musician and continue to develop my musical practice, playing and practicing everyday. I play and teach a wide variety of styles, including folk, rock, blues, funk, jazz, reggae, pop, R&B, indie, Americana and more.
As well as playing the guitar, I also play the piano and the bass and have foundational skills in Music Technology and Production.
I was taught guitar by renowned teacher and guitarist Dave Colquhoun who was the guitarist on the film Bohemian Rhapsody and tours regularly with Rick Wakeman's band.
I have a valid DBS.

I believe in nurturing a passion for music and in unlocking our innate and natural musicality. I work to develop solid technique and in developing an ear for music while retaining a sense of fun, play and possibility.
I have experience teaching children from as young as seven and have worked with teenagers too. As well as teaching guitar I have also worked as a tennis coach and as a PA to children with special educational needs.
I am a graduate from the BRIT school and have received an Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production (Distinction) from University of the Arts London.
