Hakim is a trustworthy tutor because first and foremost he creates a safe space. This is evident physically in how he teaches, by building from a fundamental part of the skill or jam skate move and adding to it gradually. Additionally, in interactions with him and other participants, it is comfortable to ask questions and interact with each other. Overall, Hakim’s teaching style and vibe, enable participants to express themselves fully in a physical way, level up skills and have fun in a social way. Highly recommended!

From seeing Hakim about 15 months ago on Instagram when I first started skating I was fascinated with his smooth, flowing footwork.

Then when I finally met him at one of his workshops I saw the drive, passion and pure joy that he puts into every movement, which he conveys in such a way to his students that whats seems hard becomes manageable.

Hakim has that knack of being able to break down moves one step at a time, whilst keeping you engaged with his fun personality.

I highly recommend people to go to any workshop Hakim hosts, you will not regret it, and I feel that he is one of the best teachers out there. :-)

Known Hakim for a good few years. My daughter has danced with him on a couple of occasions during shows and rehearsals. One of the most beautiful souls I know. Would never ever doubt his intentions or integrity. Patient and caring tutor. Nothing but positive energy and vibes from this talented and creative dancer. I started taking dance lessons with Hakim few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. He is a very friendly, patient teacher who knows how to make you feel comfortable right away. I found Hakim on this website to teach me hip hop dancing. He is an outstanding teacher, and he's got the rare gift of being very talented but listening carefully to what you want to know, and adapting accordingly. He's got lots of clever ways to teach someone who's a novice whilst building your confidence. I'd highly recommend him as a teacher because he's kind and nice natured as well as being AWESOME.

Hakim is a great teacher, he has huge amounts of knowledge in the styles of dance he offers. He breaks down everything clearly, teaches at your ability, and will cater your session to any specific aims/goals you have for yourself

Hakim is a teacher who gives great results. He’s friendly , open and super efficient. He explains in detail how to perform a skill or footwork not just showing you how to do it. Whilst giving you exercises to strengthen the areas or muscles you need for that skill so that you can go away and practise when you're not in class. One thing I like is that I always feel comfortable to ask questions. He shows you what you can work towards and gives you space to experiment with movement too.
I would 100% reccommend Hakim.
