About Marcos
Who am I? After several years working for a large European airline, I decided to dedicate myself to teaching. With a degree in Pedagogy and a tenured teacher for the city government—focused on literacy—I have simultaneously created my own methodology for teaching Brazilian Portuguese.

The student will have individual lessons focused on conversation. They will not need to purchase any learning materials (books or handouts), as the teacher aims to use a communicative approach, without memorizing grammar rules or traditional translation methods. This creates an atmosphere that encourages the student to actively participate in conversation, debating diverse topics from basic to advanced.
With a weekly lesson—prepared by the teacher and sent the previous week—the student will have time to prepare for the topic to be covered. Always featuring current themes, the weekly lesson generates active interaction between learner and facilitator, as the subjects are motivating, promoting the expression of opinions, developing verbal argumentation skills, leading to a plurality of knowledge, and generating mastery of the Portuguese language in various areas.
