About Timothy
I am a Texas-born, Texas-raised musician with over 3 decades of teaching experience as a school band and orchestra teacher, and private brass instructor in Texas, New Mexico, and California. My students consistently place well in auditions. New students see a positive change within the first or second lesson.
I have played in all manner of ensembles as an adult: symphony orchestra, concert bands, big band jazz ensembles (founding director of one & trombone section leader of 2 others), a British-style brass band (cornet, euphonium, trombone & bass trombone), church praise bands (trumpet & trombone), trombone septet, and a brass quintet (as group music director).
