About Lea
I am French, born and raised in Paris, where I grew up, studied, lived, and worked. My whole family is still there. Recently arrived in Canada, I take great pleasure in helping those who wish to improve their French. In France, I supported many foreign students during exchange programs in Paris, and here I help both children in French immersion and adults, whether beginners or at a certain level, who want to improve. I love sharing my passion for the language, enriching vocabulary, and seeing each student gain confidence: it is a real satisfaction to feel progress being made. My lessons always take place in a relaxed, supportive, and playful environment, because the most important thing is to learn with pleasure and to feel that you are making progress and gradually succeeding better and better in communicating.

I love helping my students gain confidence and express themselves freely in French. I deeply believe that the best way to learn is by having fun and working with topics that truly interest us. My teaching approach always adapts to each student’s age and needs. For children, I focus on reading books that spark their curiosity. We explore vocabulary, practice it through role-playing, games, and story creation. French becomes lively and fun! For adults, I adapt the lessons to their goals. I use real-life situations to make learning practical, motivating, and memorable. I encourage conversations around their personal interests—texts, films, current topics, or even songs that we can analyze and translate together. Above all, I love adapting to each learner, because everyone is unique, and this connection is what makes teaching so rich and meaningful!

I took conversation classes with Lea to improve my French and help me settling down in Montreal. She is a caring and encouraging teacher and her lessons are always engaging, and enjoyable, making learning French both effective and fun.
Lea works with our daughter who is in French emersion school. Easy to communicate and schedule lessons, French is Lea's native language and most important Lea finds easily how to communicate with kids. Kids like these lessons and find them helpful. I would definitely recommend Lea to others.
