About Keelan
I am currently studying filmmaking at MetFilm University in my final year, which has taught me all about storytelling and includes writing a lot of screenplays, but I have just as much experience writing fictional books!
I have spent my education and spare time writing ever since I was a child. I spent extra lessons in school creative writing, where I won an award for my short story. I published a local chapter in the newspaper about sexual health. Along with this I spent my college years writing a play we performed, and have continued my work of creative writing in the form of screenplays, which I have made and posted in the last year, with one gaining 40,000 views.
But most importantly, creative writing is my passion, and I have spent years practicing and working at it, creating stories that I am excited to share upon my graduation - and I hope to share that same guidance with you!

I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and yours is waiting! I believe that looking closer at the essence of your story, and breaking down the structure helps create more engaging and creative writing, and a more sellable product and I hope to help you on that journey!
During our lessons we will look into characters, story structure, the who's why's and where's, as well as tips helping to give your story a more polished and finished look (no matter what stage your at). A typical lesson with me includes a lot of discussing about where your story is and where it can go, creating one altogether or even just learning the art of writing. I will give you tasks and "homework" that can help guide you in the right direction. But most importantly these lessons will be about finding your inner voice; and ensuring others hear it to!
Any age or level is welcome, no matter how young or old, as I encourage anyone interested in the creative writing industry to jump straight ahead!
