About Lauriette
I am a first-year university student, majoring in Physiology who is interested in eliminating language barriers between non-English speaking individuals and the world of English. In this way, they can be able to feel included in conversations and form relationships with people who are as different as they are! English is the main language of communication in the world, right? I performed really well in high school in my English subject so I believe I can teach other people to be better well-spoken using English and also develop more confidence when speaking English with other people.

My approach towards tutoring basic English is using the individuals interests and passions in order to broaden their understanding of English. I am interested in teaching individuals who have little to no experience in speaking the English language. A lesson can be filled with a lot of fun and we, the student and I, can work through utilising the student’s interests. A typical lesson can focus on simple sentences to create the average conversation with another individual, spelling of common words.
