"You will start playing songs on your very first day with me. Imagine holding your guitar and feeling the music under your fingers immediately. My 13 years of experience inform how I teach reading tabs and songwriting to ensure you build confidence quickly.
I share free chord charts and tab sheets after each class so you can keep practicing at home. These materials help you keep the momentum going throughout your busy week.
We focus on electric technique and blues progressions to make sure you sound great right away. My Bachelor of Music degree from AIM gives me the tools to guide your progress effectively. "Music connects me to my roots in Guadalajara where the rhythm always comes first. I spent 13 years in Australia playing Latin guitar and singing in Spanish while building my teaching practice. My 13 years of experience allow me to simplify complex ideas for everyone from kids to working professionals. I have coached 407 students to find their own sound on the fretboard.
Teaching blues progressions and electric technique is how I share my Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music degree. Seeing a beginner handle barre chords for the first time is pure joy. It is truly satisfying to help returning learners get back into the groove after decades away. I enjoy the process of watching students transform their relationship with the instrument."
