I am a dedicated and results-driven tutor currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, with a strong academic foundation from a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and concept-driven, focusing on building a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, learning style, and academic goals, and then tailor each session accordingly. I use visual explanations, real-world biological examples, and simplified diagrams to make complex concepts in biology and microbiology easier to understand.
My teaching methodology combines theory with problem-solving and exam-oriented practice. I encourage active learning through questions, short quizzes, and discussion, rather than passive memorisation. Where helpful, I also relate concepts to laboratory techniques and current research to improve conceptual clarity and retention.
