About Theepika
Hello, I'm Theepika!
I'm a biotechnology researcher and a passionate teacher who believes every student can understand science and math with the right guidance.
My qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology, University of Madras
- B.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education
Why you can trust me:
- I work with these subjects every day, so you learn from real research practice, not just textbook theory.
- I come to every class prepared, with a clear plan, examples and practice material.
- I am punctual, patient and respectful of every student's pace and questions.
- I give honest feedback and regular progress updates so you always know where you stand.
My promise to you:
- My aim is not just to help you pass an exam, but to help you truly understand the subject and feel confident about it. Whether you are a school student building your basics or a college student tackling Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology or Biochemistry, I will support you at every step.
Let's make learning something you look forward to. I would be happy to start with a trial class!

Hi, I'm Theepika, and I make science and math feel simple, logical and interesting.
I hold an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a B.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology.
My teaching techniques and methods:
- Concept first, memorizing later: I explain the "why" behind every topic so it sticks.
- Real-life and lab examples, such as how antibiotics work, how immune cells respond, or how DNA is cloned.
- Diagrams, flowcharts and step-by-step breakdowns for difficult topics like metabolic pathways, immune responses and gene expression.
- Regular practice questions, quick quizzes and doubt-clearing so progress is visible.
- Exam-oriented tips: how to structure answers, which topics matter most, and how to revise efficiently.
Usual structure of a class:
- A quick recap of the previous lesson and any doubts (5 to 10 minutes)
- A new concept explained with examples and diagrams
- Guided practice or problem-solving together
- A short summary and revision points
- Practice questions to complete before the next class
My special features as a teacher:
- A researcher's perspective that connects theory to real-world science.
- A friendly approach where no question is a silly question.
- Lessons tailored to each student's pace, syllabus and goals.
- Clear notes and simplified summaries on request.
Who the classes are for:
- School students, Classes 1 to 10: Math and Science
- College students (UG level): Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Biochemistry
- Students preparing for university exams who want stronger fundamentals
Whether your child needs confidence in Math or Science, or you are struggling with a tough biotech paper, I will help you understand it, not just pass it. Send me a message and let's start with a trial class!
