About Avni
I bring over 3 years of experience as a biology tutor and hold an MSc in Immunology. My passion is marine biology and oceanography, and I integrate this into my lessons. I focus on ecosystems, ocean currents, and the effects of human activity on marine life. My teaching makes these subjects accessible and inspiring. I use documentaries, case studies, and discussions to engage students. Learners explore coral reefs, plankton, and the adaptations of deep-sea organisms. I highlight conservation challenges such as pollution, overfishing, and climate change. My lessons are structured but flexible. Exam-focused learners receive detailed reviews and practice, while curious learners are guided into exploration. I simplify complex topics using visuals and step-by-step explanations. I believe biology should be about understanding connections, not just memorizing facts. Students learn how marine systems interact with global climate and human activity. I encourage critical thinking and problem-solving. My goal is to inspire awareness and responsibility through biology. Every lesson is an opportunity to build both knowledge and care for the ocean. Teaching biology for me is about exploring the hidden forces that shape life. My lessons focus on microbiology, bacteria, viruses, and the science of transmission. I guide students in understanding how pathogens work and how immunity protects us. Lessons are reflective, calm, and paced to match the learner’s needs. Public health biology is a key part of my teaching, connecting science with global health and prevention. I use examples from vaccines, epidemics, and sanitation practices to make learning relevant. Toxicologists find deeper guidance in understanding toxins and immune reactions. Tinkerers are encouraged to question, experiment, and explore unusual ideas. Every learner is supported with a balance of structure and curiosity. I break down difficult topics into simple, clear explanations. I believe learning should be both thoughtful and inspiring.
